Multi-LLM agentic platforms — where multiple AIs basically collaborate with each other — are the next thing worth building.
If you’re building one, there’s a paper you’ll find useful. “Generative Agents: Interactive Simulacra of Human Behavior” came out in April from six computer scientists at Stanford University and Google Research, who built a Sims-like town, populated it with twenty-five AI agents, and let them get on with their days.
The trick is in the architecture. Each agent “extends a large language model to store a complete record of the agent’s experiences using natural language, synthesize those memories over time into higher-level reflections, and retrieve them dynamically to plan behavior.” In plain terms: the agent remembers everything that has happened to it, periodically thinks about what it all means, and consults both before deciding what to do next.
The result the paper is known for goes like this. Give one agent “a single user-specified notion” that it wants to throw a Valentine’s Day party, and over the next two days the others spread the invitations, make new acquaintances, ask each other out, and turn up together at the right time. Nobody scripted the party. The town produced it.
Now point that machinery at work instead of a party.

What makes a real C-suite valuable is that the CFO and the CEO want different things, and the company lives in the argument between them. A single model asked to think like both at once will average them into mush. Separate agents, each with its own memory of what it has said and what it has been told, can actually disagree — and then remember that they did. That’s what the paper gives a builder.
